Real Sociedad striker Nihat has confirmed he's leaving the club in January.

The Turkey international's deal expires in June and cash-strapped Real are desperate to make some money off his transfer.

"I've had many ideas about my future and would have liked to have seen out my contract and leave for free at the end of this season," said Nihat.

"But I also have always said that if the club received a good offer for me I would be prepared to leave."

Real are yet to confirm the news, but it's understood a bid of around £2 million for Nihat from Spartak Moscow has been accepted ahead of the market opening in January.

Nihat's contract at Spartak will be worth £2 million-a-year over four-and-a-half years.
