Arsène Wenger has hinted that Quincy Owusu-Abeyie may need to go out on loan in order to get some first team football under his belt.

The 19-year-old has only played 30 minutes of Premiership football so far this season, and Wenger has hinted that the youngster needs to learn some consistency.

"For him, it's down to consistency at that level." Wenger explained.

"Until now, there have been swings in his form but if he can get his mind on his game, he will be a great player.

"He has never had a consistent run in the team and that is what he needs - to play at the top level. Everything is there to be an exciting player.

"I will try to give him that chance, although going out on loan is a possibility."
